Abstract Submission Guidelines

To ensure a seamless and professional submission process, please adhere to the following guidelines when preparing and submitting your abstract for Next Gen Bio Tech 2025, scheduled for September 18 , 2025, via Zoom.

Submission Process

Either form of submission is acceptable.

Abstract Format Guidelines

Use the official abstract template provided on the website.

Ensure your abstract adheres to the following format:

  • Word count: Maximum 300 words (excluding title and author details)
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Spacing: Single line spacing
  • File format: PDF or Word (.doc/.docx)

Title and Author Details

Provide a clear, concise, and descriptive title that reflects the core focus of your research.

List the full names, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors.

Clearly mark the presenting author with an asterisk (*) if different from the corresponding author.

Abstract Content Structure

Structure your abstract using the following sections:

  • Objectives: State the purpose or goal of the research.
  • Methods: Briefly describe the methodology or experimental approach.
  • Results: Highlight key findings or anticipated outcomes.
  • Conclusion: Summarize the impact, significance, or potential application.

Avoid vague descriptions, undefined acronyms, or excessive technical jargon.

Keywords & Discoverability

  • Include 3–5 keywords or phrases that best describe your research.
  • These keywords help improve indexing and online discoverability.

Figures and Visuals (Optional)

  • You may include one high-quality figure, table, or image to support your findings.
  • All visuals must be clearly labeled, legible, and directly relevant.

References

If your abstract cites previous research, use the APA 7th Edition citation style.

Include references in a separate section at the end of the abstract. Relevance and Theme

Ensure your abstract is aligned with the central theme:
“Innovations in Genomics, Bioengineering, and Therapeutics.”

Submissions should address innovative research, case studies, or advancements relevant to biotechnology and life sciences.

Deadline and Review Process

  • Submission Deadline: August 15, 2025 (11:59 PM IST)
  • Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • All abstracts will undergo a rigorous peer review by the scientific committee.
  • Authors will receive notification of acceptance or rejection by August 25, 2025.

Presentation Guidelines (Post-Acceptance)

Accepted abstracts will be scheduled for either oral or poster presentation.

Detailed presentation guidelines, including slide format and time limits, will be shared upon acceptance.

Upon successful submission, you will receive an automated confirmation email acknowledging receipt.
